Austin maternity photography: waiting on Leo

Back in May over Memorial Day weekend, I traveled down to Texas from Oklahoma for a very special Austin maternity photography session with Christian and Montana. It was hot as all get out, even for us veteran Texans! Poor Montana’s feet were so swollen that Christian had to pull her cowboy boots off for her.

We had an awesome night in Austin, Texas at the beautiful Zilker Botanical Gardens and then down South Congress St. The mosquitoes had a feast and the humidity was killer, but her baby bump showed off beautifully! Montana looked every bit of the pretty mama-to-be in my TAoPaN pink gown while posing with her cowboy!  I own over 15 maternity gowns in my closet, so feel free to choose one or two for your maternity session.

This colorful mural on the side of a store on South Congress Street surely did not disappoint us.  We also had to pose with the famous I love you so much wall on the side of the taco shop. Montana, Christian and I walked and laughed all night!  We also grabbed some yummy ice cream and lots of water.

Christian and Montana were such troopers in the heat. They even had me take a photo of all of their cowboy boots together on the sidewalk. Leo Hunter was born in July. You can see this little cowboy’s newborn photos here! Family shoes and boots, symbolizing anticipation for the arrival of baby Leo.
